ABOUT THE CYBER TABLE
Cybersecurity belongs in everyday conversations.
Your accounts. Your privacy. Your everyday decisions. The Cyber Table makes cybersecurity useful in the moments that matter.
We use technology every day. Understanding how to protect ourselves should be just as accessible.
The Cyber Table brings practical cybersecurity knowledge beyond professional circles and into everyday life. It is for the person questioning an unexpected message, a family trying to protect their accounts, and anyone who has ever felt that cyber advice was written for somebody else.
Through clear guides, real stories and situations you can practise, we connect knowledge with the decisions people actually face. We want more people to feel equipped to ask questions, recognise risks and take informed action.
Anyone can be deceived, including people who work in cybersecurity. Sharing knowledge helps people prepare, respond and support one another without judgement. No question is too small.
Understand it. Practise it. Use it.
Start with an app you use, a story that sounds familiar or a decision you want to practise. Inspect the evidence, explore your choices and learn why the next step matters.
Our guides link to their sources. Documented incidents are distinguished from fictional practice cases, and we explain where the available evidence stops.

Hello, I’m Sofiya.
I believe the value of cybersecurity knowledge grows when more people can use it.
My work brings together cybersecurity operations, technology risk and information security governance. Across these areas, I focus on connecting technical understanding with clear priorities, practical decisions and a shared sense of responsibility.
For me, leadership means making complex issues understandable, creating space for questions and helping others act with confidence. The strongest security conversations invite people in and give them something useful to take away.
I founded The Cyber Table to carry that approach beyond the workplace. I want practical knowledge to reach people who may never attend a cybersecurity training session or read a technical report, but still make important decisions online every day.
As a Certified ISO/IEC 27001:2022 Lead Auditor and Certified Lead Implementer, with an academic background in cybersecurity, information security and digital forensics, I bring a professional foundation and an enduring curiosity to this work.
My aim is to build a space where experience is shared generously, questions are welcomed and understanding leads to action. A table with room for everyone.
